Kalahari is a beautiful place! Me and my 3 kids had such a good time that we didn't wanna leave! There is a lot to do there, never a dull moment! The staff is awesome. Everyone was generous in their own way from check-in to checkout! I appreciate every one of them... even the staff that usually gets overlooked (lifeguards, housekeeping). Thank you for making our family vacation wonderful!
Nice resort, my children were probably a little young to fully enjoy the stay, but they are both under 2 years old. The suite was nice, but the fireplace did not work and in the kitchen there was not a fry pan only 2 pots for use on the stove too. That just made it harder to cook to breakfast, but not impossible. Staff was friendly and courteous. Room duvet was dirty, it had someone's long hair on it. That was the only complaint about cleanliness in the room.
I was so pleased with our stay at Kalahari! The entire staff was friendly and helpful, check in was easy and informative, the front desk was helpful throughout. Seriously, the staff made our stay great. The lifeguards ensure safety without being annoying. Very laid back atmosphere but also felt safe. The hotel room was clean and spacious. Even the staff at the restaurants and gift shops were super nice and friendly. Most importantly, the pools and slides are clean and fun for the whole family. I cannot say enough good things about our stay and can't wait to go back!
We brought the SUV and all 5 children. What a wonderful experience! The two room family suite was extremely spacious. The kids LOVED watching a pay-per-view movie in their room, while we enjoyed some relaxation and conversation over wine on our side. We ordered pizza from the Pizza Pub in house, which was absolutely delicious and top reviewed by all of us. We also packed a crock pot to make breakfast, which was a GENIUS idea by my wife. She scrambled egg beaters with sausage for breakfast burritos, which were quick and easy. Water park was great, and life jackets for our youngest were readily available. Next time we may take advantage of the 24 hour store, fitness center, and laundry, which we haven't seen yet. There's so much to see and do here!
Had a great stay, we had opted to upgrade our room upon check-in and were very happy with the amenities. The whole resort was very clean and very well maintained. Food was great. Stayed in December for the indoor waterpark experience. The lifeguards were helpful friendly and observant, the maintenance staff were constantly cleaning the floors keeping it sanitary and safe. The actual water in each part of the park was perfect - very clean quality / nice lukewarm temperature / etc. There were enough features for each age group, and we all had fun. Nice winter getaway, we will be back.
